Privacy Policy
Last updated: May 16, 2026
The Fight Calendar is a read-only events app. We built it to respect your privacy by default. This policy explains exactly what data the app touches, what we collect, and what we don't.
Data we collect
None. The Fight Calendar does not require an account, does not ask for personal information, and does not store any personal data on our servers.
Data the app reads from your device
- Calendar access (optional): If you tap "Add to Calendar" on an event, the app uses your device's calendar API to write that single event to a calendar you choose. We never read your existing calendar entries.
- Local preferences: Your filter selections (which disciplines and promotions you want to see) are stored locally on your device only.
Data the app sends
The app fetches the public events feed from
api.thefightcalendar.com. These requests contain no personal
information — only a standard HTTP request for the latest events list.
Our server records standard short-lived web server logs (IP address, timestamp, request path) for operational and abuse-prevention purposes. These logs are not used to build profiles, are not sold, and are not shared with third parties.
Third-party services
The app does not include third-party analytics, advertising SDKs, or tracking libraries.
Children's privacy
The Fight Calendar is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect any data from anyone.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we'll update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
